Sabrina Raaf
Recently, Sabrina Raaf [link to
raaf.org], a rising star in the international art world and tenure-track
professor at the Art Institute of Chicago, selected Asylum to work with her on a
new project. Titled “Test People,” it is a “series of photographs that depict
domestic situations where aspects of war, gaming, and antigravity have crept
in.” (From the artist’s site.)
For this job, team members needed to help the artist rig and choreograph a
series of shots that would allow her to have airborne models who looked like
they were static or floating, rather than moving at high speed.
