Stunt Coordinating & Choreography

We will provide specialized stunt coordinating and choreography in any theme. We pride ourselves on not creating choreography just to show all the cool moves we can work in, but rather creating choreography that meets the director’s technical requirements, helps tell the story, and maintains ties to the theme of the scene the story as a whole.

Here are the full coordinating and choreography services Asylum can provide, from pre- through postproduction.

Preproduction:

      Script review

      Storyboarding: Working with the director to create storyboards from the script

      Choreography: Fight choreography, gun choreography, movement choreography (for potentially dangerous acting scenes)

      Scene design: Working with the director on how to best film action sequences; focus is on angles, lighting, and edits

      Set design: Working with set designers and effects crew on how best to develop sets for action sequences to enhance safety and visual effectiveness

      Training: We will train your performers to carry off their stunt scenes safely and impactfully

      F/X, including pyro, squibs, breakaways, etc.

Postproduction:

      Editing: Working with the director and editors on action sequences to make sure the best cuts are chosen, and that lapses or "open" scenes don't make it into the final cut
